Superb - truly rarely found and Dutch-language issued! - European volunteer-related book(let) entitled: 'Germaansch Ontwaken - Brieven van Germaanse Vrijwilligers' and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit used- ie. read, condition)

This is a very attractive - much sought-after, actually rarely found and Dutch-language issued! - European (SS) volunteer-related book(let) entitled: 'Germaansch Ontwaken - Brieven van Germaanse Vrijwilligers' (which can be freely translated as: 'Germanic Awakening - Letters from the Germanic volunteers') and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. complete albeit used- ie. read, condition). This book(let) measures approximately 21 x 15 cms. and holds approximately 100 pages. It shows a foreword of the: 'Reichsführer-SS' Heinrich Himmler and was published (by the Dutch publishing-house: 'Storm') in the year 1942. The book(let) contains excerpts from letters from Dutch, Flemish, Swiss- and Norwegian volunteers and shows several memorial-pages concerning volunteers whow were killed in action (as can be seen in the pictures). This publication was a Dutch language-translated version of its German counterpart (entitled: 'Aufbruch'): it should, however, be noted that this Dutch-langue version is x-times more rarely encountered. The (fragile!) piece comes in an overall nice- (albeit used- ie. read-) condition and just shows some minimal yellowing and usage as can be seen on the pictures. Simply a very desirable and interesting example of the Dutch-language-issued publication: 'Germaansch Ontwaken - Brieven van Germaanse Vrijwilligers' that is quite hard to encounter!
