Attractive, medal-set: 'Kriegsverdienstkreuz 1. Klasse ohne Schwertern', being a non-maker-marked specimen that came stored in its original etui and dito orange-toned 'Überkarton'

This is an attractive - and complete! - medal-set: 'Kriegsverdienstkreuz 1. Klasse ohne Schwertern' (or: war-merits'-cross first-class without swords) being a non-maker-marked (and typical 'Buntmetall'-based!) specimen and that came stored in its original, black-coloured etui and dito (rarely seen, orange-coloured) 'Überkarton' and that comes in an overall nice- (and I deem just moderately used- and/or worn-), condition. The award is an attractive, non-maker-marked- and/or still fairly shiny, so-called: 'Buntmetall'- (ie. 'Tombak-') based specimen that has maintained a 'shiny' age-patina and still retains some of its polished sides (ie. 'hochpolierte Kanten'). Some obvious age- ie. tarnish is, however, visible and/or present, simply caused by decades of storage and/or moderate wear. The piece comes naturally mounted onto its functional (flute-shaped) pin- and/or: period catch (ie. catch-set-up) which are both present and totally unaltered (as can be seen on the pictures). It has, however, most certainly never been cleaned nor polished and therefore are details and/or finish still very nice and/or crisp. The award came stored in its black-coloured etui that retains a fully preserved, silver-toned KvK-symbol on its top (as can be seen on the pictures). Moreover, did it come 'packed' in its (rarely seen!) carton-based, orange-coloured box (ie. 'Überkarton'). This 'Überkarton' comes in a wonderful condition and does show the printed text: 'Kriegsverdienstkreuz 1. Klasse' on its top and retains all flaps (just some of the tiny inner-flaps are missing as more often). It should be noted that nicely preserved examples of these 'Kriegsverdienstkreuz 1. Klasse ohne Schwertern'-sets are actually not that easily encountered and can easily be graded 'scarce', even more so when they come in such a complete and untouched, condition. Simply a nice occasion to acquire an attractive 'Kriegsverdienstkreuz 1. Klasse ohne Schwertern'-set for a competitive price!
