I recently uncovered a small stack comprising of six - fully identical! - neatly (multi-coloured) enamelled, WH (Luftwaffe) so-called: 'Truppen-Traditionsabzeichen des 1. Fallschirm-Korps' that come all six stored in their period, 'Cellophan'-based pouch by the (Italian) maker: 'G. Bregonzio - Milano' and that come all six in a very nice- (ie. 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-), condition. These neat badges were produced on behalf by the: 'Oberkommando des Heeresgruppe C' (being the German command of the Italian war-theatre) and were the designated insignia of the (by the famous commander and 'Generalfeldmarschall' Albert Kesselring led) '1. Fallschirm-Korps'). These neat (multi-coloured) enamelled badges saw usage by the troops and were often worn onto the left-side of their M43-type field-caps (ie. 'Einheitsfeldmützen'). A similar example is also figured on page 135 of the topic-related publication entitled: 'German Paratroopers' by Robert Kurtz. My asking-price is naturally intended for a single, 'virtually mint- ie. unissued' specimen. I deem that I have priced these neat – unissued and surely desirable! - 'Truppen-Traditionsabzeichen des 1. Fallschirm-Korps', accordingly!
