Truly worn, WH (Heeres ie. Waffen-SS) 'Kuban'-campaign-shield that comes mounted onto its original field-grey-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'backing' as issued and/or used

This is a neat - and with certainty moderately used- ie. clearly tunic-removed! - example of a WH (Heeres ie. Waffen-SS) so-called: 'Kuban'-campaign-shield that comes mounted onto its original, field-grey-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'backing' and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. clearly issued and/or once tunic-attached-) condition. The - still detailed and/or pronounced! - shield comes naturally complete with its original metal-based 'back-plate' and still retains all four of its original prongs (being attached to the sides of the shield as more often encountered with original 'Kuban'-campaign-shields as can be seen on the pictures). The piece retains (most of) its paper-based 'backing-cover' which is executed in black-toned 'crepe'-styled paper (as can be seen on the pictures). This example was I deem cleaned and has lost some of its (glossy) bronze-toned finish: it does still show some minimal (rust)staining as is visible on the pictures. It should, however, be noted that these (original) 'Kuban'-campaign-shields are a bit underestimated in value and rarity: genuine examples of the 'Kuban'-shield are actually not that easily encountered. I deem that I have priced this truly worn example according to its used condition: better preserved examples would most certainly cost much more!
