This is a truly very attractive - and/or fully 'textbook'! - example of a WH cuff-title (ie. 'Ärmelstreifen') entitled: 'Kreta' (being an example that bears a seldomly seen, printed 'RbN.'-numeral that reads: 'RBN.0/0250/2340'!) and that comes in a surely issued, just moderately worn and/or once tunic-attached, condition. The cuff-title comes in a minimally-shortened- ie. almost full-length condition (it measures approximately 39,5 cms.) and was as stated above clearly issued and worn. Both ends show some normal fraying as is more often encountered (as can be seen on the pictures). The cuff-title just shows some minimal age ie. staining caused by fair wear and/or decades of storage (as can be seen on the pictures). It should be stated that these 'Kreta'-cuff-titles are not to be regarded as commemorative cuff-titles (such as the 'Afrikakorps' cuff-title) but were regarded as official awards that needed official recognition (and entries in both 'Soldbuch' and/or 'Wehrpass'). Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that this specimen is somewhat beige-toned (NOT stained!) something that is most certainly unusual. Simply a very attractive and naturally genuine, period-example that will be very hard to be upgraded and that is I deem accordingly priced!
