The attractive - and with certainty unusually encountered! - HJ/BDM (ie. 'Hitlerjugend' or: 'Bund Deutscher Mädel') or youth-related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is executed in golden-bronze-coloured- and/or (I deem) zinc- ie. tin-based metal (ie. 'Eisenblech'): it does show some normal wear and/or moderate age. The badge has a functional pin-/catch set-up and has never been cleaned nor polished: it does show some minimal age ie. staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'tinnie' is very detailed and retains most of its somewhat darkened- ie. minimally tarnished, golden-bronze-coloured finish. The 'tinnie' depicts a building, HJ-'Raute' and characters 'BDM' and bearing the text: 'Untergautreffen - Ludwigshafen/Rhein - 9.-10.6.34' (as can be seen on the pictures). Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that this example bears a period makers'-designation-sticker on its back that reads: 'F. Mannheim - Kaiserslautern'. Simply an attractive - and with certainty very scarcely encountered! - locally-issued 'HJ'-/'BDM' (ie. 'Hitlerjugend'-/'Bund Deutscher Mädel'-related 'tinnie' from the year 1934!
