This is a truly very attractive - albeit regrettably single but nevertheless very rarely found! - typical early-pattern and neatly 'cyphered', so-called: 'HJ'- (ie. 'Hitlerjugend'-) shoulderstrap as was (I deem) intended for usage - and just minimally worn! - by a: 'HJ-Rottenführer' who was attached to the: 'Oberbann 1 - Bann Nürnberg' and that comes in an overall nice- (I deem just moderately used- ie. carefully tunic- or shirt-removed-), condition. The strap - which is executed in typical, beige-tan-coloured linnen as to be expected - has the bright-red-coloured- (and typical rayon-based) piping attached and shows the machine-embroidered - by means of 'Kurbelstickerei' (Gothic-styled and/or equally bright-red-coloured) so-called: 'J'-cypher (ie. 'Ziffer'). The strap never had a tongue attached and comes as found and/or issued: it is of 'sewn-in'-pattern (and was also used as such). The strap - that shows the remains of a once-attached 'RzM'-etiket - measures 12,5 cms. in length and has a (typical) thin-shaped (silver-toned) 'Lasche' attached denoting the rank of a: 'HJ-Rottenführer'. The strap does show some minimal age ie. staining simply caused by moderate wear and/or decades of storage. It should be noted that these 'cyphered' (ie. 'Hitlerjugend') shoulderstraps can easily be graded 'rare' even more so when they are of the desirable early-pattern. Simply an attractive - and actually rarely encountered! - so-called: early-pattern, 'Oberbann 1'-shoulderstrap that belonged to the 'HJ-Bann Nürnberg'!
