Zinc-based, WH (LW) ie. 'Flieger'-related ID-disc bearing the clearly stamped unit-designation that simply reads: 'Rek.Kp./Flg.Ers.Btl.X.II'
Category:
This is a neat - and I deem clearly worn and/or used - example of a greyish-coloured- and/or typical zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based, WH (Luftwaffe-) ie. 'Flieger'- (ie. pilots) related ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') that is bearing the clearly stamped unit-designation that simply reads: 'Rek.Kp./Flg.Ers.Btl.X.II' (and that was as such belonging to a LW-staff-member serving within a so-called: 'Rekruten-Kompanie' belonging to the 'Flieger-Ersatz-Batallion', numbered: '12'). The disc comes in an overall very nice (albeit clearly used ie. worn-), condition (and is executed in an attractive letter-type!) and shows the clear evidence of having been moderately used ie. worn (as can be noticed on the pictures). The disc is totally void of the bearers'-blood-group-type something that is more often seen on these ID-discs. The disc originates from a private-household in Germany where it was recently uncovered. Simply a very attractive and honest, WH (Luftwaffe-) ie. 'Flieger'-related ID-disc that belonged to a member who served within a: 'Rekruten-Kompanie' of the: 'Flieger-Ersatz-Batallion XII' and that is I deem accordingly priced!
