Attractive, WWI-period: 'Eisernes Kreuz II. Klasse' being a typical non-magnetic(!) and non-maker-marked example (as was presumably produced by the: 'Wilh. Deumer'-company)

This is an attractive example of an (I deem) surely issued- and just moderately worn example of a WWI-period: 'Eisernes Kreuz II. Klasse' (or: iron cross second class) and that comes as issued and/or recently found. The detail on this (unusually non-magnetic!) example is very nicely preserved: it has - I deem - never been cleaned nor polished and has an attractive and just minimally tarnished age-patina (as can be seen on the pictures). The cross came together with its folded (hardly shortened nor confectioned) period ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt'). The IC truly retains very nice details but is totally coid of a makers'-designation (I deem, however, that it can be attributed to the desirable maker: 'Wilh. Deumer' as was based in the town of Lüdenscheid. The cross has a very nicely preserved, black-finished (ie. somewhat 'satin-like'- ie. 'shiny-style'-) core (and almost fully preserved 'hochpolierte Kanten'!) and is void of any damage or real paint-loss and has been truly nicely preserved. The piece is just a tiny bit dusty and/or stained but was never cleaned nor polished (as can be seen on the pictures). The ribbon (approx. 25 cms. sized!) shows only minimal usage and/or staining. Simply a great WWI-period 'EKII. Klasse' that is with certainty accordingly priced!
