The neat day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is executed in typical (light-weight) tin-based (pot) metal: it shows some normal wear and/or moderate age. The badge come mounted onto its functional pin- ie. pin/catch set-up and has in my opinion never been cleaned nor polished: it shows some minimal age ie. staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'tinnie' is depicting an eagle-device resting on a swastika surrounded by the text: 'Gautag der N.S.D.A.P. - Westfalen Süd - Bochum - 5.7./7/1935'. It is very detailed and retains truly all of its silver-coloured finish. It should be noted that all N.S.D.A.P.-related tinnies that were intended to commemorate an event at regional- (ie. 'Gau'-) level (such as the piece on offer here) saw much more limited usage and can easily be graded 'scarce'.
