Attractive, WWII-period Italian award 'C.S.I.R. 1941/1942' (ie. 'Corpo di Spedizione Italiano i Russia') also known as Italian 'ice-cross'

This is an attractive - and actually not that often ie. scarcely seen! - WWII-period (unofficial!) Italian award entitled: 'C.S.I.R. 1941/1942' (ie. 'Corpo di Spedizione Italiano i Russia') also known as Italian 'ice-cross' that comes mounted ono its period (black- and white-coloured) ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt') and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. just moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The example of offer here is executed in silvered, zinc-based metal (and has a white painted ie. not enamelled!) front and is as such (I deem) of the version that was specifically intended for soldiers and/or NCOs). On its back it shows the impressed text: 'C.S.I.R - Dnjepr Donetz Bug Don - Luglio 1941 - Luglio 1942'. The (fragile) paint on its front shows a few (non disturbing) paint-damaged areas (as is more often the case). The piece shows on its back a makers'-designation that reads: 'Lorioli - Milano' (as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply a neat - and actually not that often found! - eastern front-medal of one Germanys allies also known as: Italian 'ice-cross'!
