Attractive, bronze-toned (and partly enamelled!) Bulgarian WWII-period so-called: 'Infanteriesturmabzeichen in Bronze für Mannschaften' that comes as issued- and/or worn
Category:
These neat - and most certainly decorative! - bronze-toned- (ie. multi-piece constructed and partly enamelled!) Bulgarian, WWII-period, military close-combat awards or: 'Infanteriesturmabzeichen in Bronze für Mannschaften' (or: bronze-class, infantry assault-badges) were awarded to non-commisioned staff (ie. privates and/or NCOs) for exceptional actions in the face of remarkable danger. The example on offer here came mounted onto its fully functional (broader- ie. flute-shaped) pin- ie. pin/catch-set-up and was nicely preserved: it was (I deem) never polished nor cleaned and is still a tiny bit dirty but very detailed. It retains a neat, only minimally tarnished golden-bronze-toned finish and is totally void of any enamel-damage (as can be seen on the pictures). The attractive medal was recently found as such at a private-household and was uncovered amongst some other belongings of an (regrettably not named) German NCO. Simply a very decorative Bulgarian, WWII-period military 'Infanteriesturmabzeichen in Bronze für Mannschaften' that is with certainty accordingly priced!
