'Reichssportabzeichen DRL in Bronze' by: 'Wernstein' that came stored in its (unusally seen!) red-coloured (and maker- ie. 'Preussische Staatsmünze - Berlin'-marked pouch as issued and found
Category:
The attractive DRL-sports'-badge is of the version without swastika and truly retains all of its (somewhat darkened- and/or typical bronze-coloured-) finish. As stated above, is the badge nicely maker-marked: 'Wernstein - Jena-Lobstedt' on its back (as can be seen on the pictures). Next to this, does it also bear the (typical) 'D.R.G.M.'-marking and numbering as to be expected for a DRL-sports'-badge. The sports'-badge - which comes naturally mounted onto its fully functional and totally unaltered pin- and/or pin-catch set-up in place - was I deem never cleaned nor polished and retains a just minimally tarnished age-patina (as can be seen on the pictures). Of additional interest is, morover, the fact that this example came stored within its (truly unusally seen!) bright-red-coloured (and/or clearly maker- ie. 'Preussische Staatsmünze - Berlin'-) marked pouch as issued and stored for decades: the piece was found as such at a German private-household and was never before in collectors'-hands. Simply an attractive example that will be very hard to be upgraded and that is with certainty accordingly priced!
