This is a very attractive - and most certainly very unusually seen! - bright silver-toned-, neatly enamelled and darker-green-/white-toned, TR-period shooting-medal (ie. 'Schiessauszeichnung') that shows in its centre a black-toned eagle-device (with swastika!) and on its back the text: 'Für förderende Mitarbeit - priv. Schützen-Gesellschaft - Netzschkau - 3. III. 1941' and that comes mounted onto its nicely-shaped (and black/white-striped) ribbon and that comes in a most certainly issued- (and/or moderately worn- ie. used-), condition. The shooting-award is - I deem - a typical (privately-issued!) example that was issued by the: 'priv. Schützen-Gesellschaft - Netzschkau' and was issued for rendered loyal-service and cooperation in/during the year 1941. The front of the medal shows a darker-green-toned cross that shows in its centre a black-toned eagle-device (with swastika). The medal - which is totally void of a makers'-designation as more often - comes naturally mounted onto its (fully functional- and/or totally unaltered-) ribbon that has a (functional) pin- ie. pin-catch set-up in place (as can be seen on the pictures). This attractive example has an approximate diameter of 3,5 cms. and originates from a German private-household and was never before part of a collection. I deem that I did price this attractive (locally- ie. privately-issued) 'Schiessauszeichnung', accordingly!
