Neatly enamelled- (and multi-coloured!) 'Mitgliedsabzeichen der Deutsche Automobil Club o. D.D.A.C.)' being a detailed example that shows a makers- (ie. 'F.B.'-) and/or: 'Ges. Gesch.'-patent-pending designation
Category:
The attractive - early-period and actually scarcely seen! - membership-lapel-pin (ie. 'Mitgliedsabzeichen der Deutsche Automobil Club o. D.D.A.C.)' has only moderately been used ie. worn and has a very nicely preserved age-patina. It has most certainly never been cleaned nor polished: it is showing normal wear but is totally void of any (enamel-) damage (as can be seen on the pictures): just some regular wear ie. minimal scratches are noticable. The badge shows moreover a somewhat tarnished- (ie. minimally stained) finish ie. age-patina as can be seen from the pictures. This example - which has an approximate height of 2.2 cms. - shows a black-coloured eagle-device and swastika and enamelled 'rim on a white-coloured background coupled with the text ie. abbreviation: 'D.D.A.C.' and comes mounted on its regular-styled (longer-sized) pin which is naturally still functional and/or present. Simply an attractive (and early-period!) membership-lapel-pin ie. 'Mitgliedsabzeichen' that belonged to a member of the: 'Deutsche Automobil Club' (or: 'D.D.A.C.')!
