This is an attractive - and simply never worn nor even mounted! - example of a WH (Heeres, Luftwaffe ie. Waffen-SS-) so-called: 'Kraftfahrbewährungs-Abzeichen in Silber' (or: silver-class drivers'-proficiency-badge) that came stored in its period (typical 'Zellstoff'-based) pouch (which is a clearly maker- 'Rudolf Souval - Wien VII/62'- marked example) that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. still 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-), condition. The neat - and most certainly detailed! - arm-badge that was presumably issued but never used retains both its (originally-attached) prongs and also retains its period (metal-based) 'back-plate' as is more often encountered: the piece was never cleaned and is still a tiny bit stained ie. dirty caused by decades of storage only. The award came packed in it (period) 'Zellstoff'-based pouch that shows a red-inked text on its front and that bears on its back the printed text: 'Rudolf Souval - Wien VII/62' (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an attractive - and 'virtually mint'! - example of a WH (Heeres, LW or Waffen-SS-) so-called: 'Kraftfahrbewährungs-Abzeichen in Silber' that is with certainty accordingly priced!
