WH Czech-occupation- (ie. 'Anschluss'-) medal: '1. Oktober 1938' that comes with its period-attached 'PB-Spange' (and ribbon-bar) and that comes stored in its bordeaux-red-coloured- and/or non-maker-marked etui

This medal (ie. 'Medaille zur Erinnerung an den 1. Oktober 1938') was awarded to all members of the armed forces that participated in the German occupation of Czechoslovakia that started on: '1. Oktober 1938' and is an attractive and/or detailed- (albeit clearly issued- and/or moderately worn!) example having still great pronounced detail. The medal on offer here came with its (period-attached) so-called: 'Prager Burg Spange': and both award and 'Spange' have a very nicely preserved, (bright albeit minimally darkened) golden-yellow-toned finish showing hardly any staining: both have, however, never been cleaned nor polished and truly retain most of their period-applied golden-toned finish (as can be seen on the pictures). The detailed medal came mounted onto its confectioned- (ie. pre-folded-) ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt') came with- (ie. came stored in-) its typical, bordeaux-red-coloured etui (which comes in an equally nicely preserved condition): this etui is truly void of any real damage but does show some minimal age- and/or handling-marks (as can be seen on the pictures). Of interest is, moreover, that this etui shows a clearly-printed makers'-designation in its upper-lid that reads: 'Deschler & Sohn - München' (something that is most certainly not often the case). The golden-coloured eagle-design on the top of the etui is, however, also nicely preserved: it is not denazified or alike but just shows some minimal age and/or staining as to be expected. Of addtional interest is, moreover, that this example came with its accompanying single-pieced ribbon-bar (ie. 'Feld- o. Bandspange') that also shows a detailed (miniature) 'Prager Burg Spange'period-attached (also this ribbon-bar shows some obvious age and/or wear as can be noticed on the pictures. Simply an attractive - and fully complete! - Czech 'Anschluss'-medal and/or 'Prager Burg Spange'-set that is - I deem - accordingly priced!
