Interesting - and actually rarely found! - post-WWI-period- (ie. 'Freikorps'-related) tunic- (ie. cap-) button depicting a typical, early-period skull-device: 'Wehrwolf'

This is an attractive - typical post WWI- (ie. pre-WWII-) period- (ie. 'Freikorps'-related) and actually rarely found! - tunic- (ie. cap-) button depicting a typical, early-period skull-device and that was as such (I deem) intended for usage by a member of the: 'Wehrwolf'-organisation and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit truly used- ie. worn-), condition. The button - that was I deem used by the 'Wehrwolf'-members around 1919/1920 - is a typical steel-based (and minimally rust-stained but never cleaned) example that has an approximate diameter of only 2,1 cms. and is totally void of a (makers') designation as more often. The piece on offer here was clearly used and does show some obvious age, wear and/or staining as can be noticed on the pictures. This example originates from an older collection of interesting, pre-1933 insignia and badges that I recently acquired for the web-site. I deem that I did price this attractive: 'Freikorps'- ie. 'Wehrwolf'-related button, accordingly!
