The neat - and most certainly not that often found! - TR-period, 'Feuerwehr'- (ie. fire-brigade-) related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is (I deem) executed in silverish-grey-toned, zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-based) metal (ie. so-called: pot-metal) and depicts a ('Polizei- ie. Feuerwehr'-related) eagle-device with swastika and showing the tekst that reads: '75 Freiw. Feuerwehr Rinteln - 13.-15-8-38' and that was as such intended for a specific fire-brigade-related gathering (ie. celebrating the 75th year of the Rinteln-based fire-brigade in Agust 1938. The 'hollow-back'-pattern badge comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- ie. pin/catch set-up and was (I deem) never cleaned nor polished: it just shows some minimal staining but is still detailed and/or pronounced. The 'tinnie' - which is void of a makers'-designation as more often - truly retains all of its (typical, somewhat tarnished ie. stained) silverish-coloured finish. Simply a great occasion to acquire an attractive - and not that easily encountered! – locally-issued, 'Feuerwehr'-related 'Tagungs- o. Veranstaltungsabzeichen' for a justified price!
