Commemorative - rarely found and very early-period! - carton-based: 'Deutscher Turnerbund'-related 'tinnie' entitled: 'Turn- u. Sportverein - Prien / Chiemsee - 50 jährige Gründungsfeier - 18. u. 19. Aug 1928'

The attractive - very early-period and just moderately used but nevertheless nicely preserved! - multi-coloured, 'Deutscher Turnerbund'-related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is (very unusually!) made-out of carton and is entitled: 'Turn- u. Sportverein - Prien / Chiemsee - 50 jährige Gründungsfeier mit Turnhallen-Eröffnung u. Gauturnfest - 18. u. 19. Aug 1928': it does show some normal wear and/or moderate age but has presumably never been cleaned (it is still a bit dirty but has maintained a nice, and just minimally tarnished appearance). The shield-shaped day-badge comes mounted onto its functional (copper-based) pin- (ie. pin/catch-) set-up and shows some minimal age ie. staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece shows a multi- (ie. white/red-) coloured shield and 'Deutscher Turnerbund'-logo coupled with the above-mentioned text. The piece shows, moreover, an oval-shaped (albeit undecypherable) makers'-designation-stamp on its back. Simply a very attractive - and with certainty rarely encountered! - regionally-issued and very early-period 'Deutscher Turnerbund'-related day-badge that is with certainty accordingly priced!
