  1. Belts & Buckles

This a truly superb - actually fairly rarely encountered and I deem hardly ie. just minimally worn! - example of a WH (Heeres) 'standard-pattern', field-grey-toned- and/or aluminium-based belt-buckle (ie. 'Koppelschloss für Unteroffiziere u. Mannschaften des Heeres') being a clearly maker- (ie. 'Overhoff & Cie. - Lüdenscheid'-) marked- and/or: '1938'-dated example that comes mounted onto its leather-based tab and that comes as recently found and/or stored for decades. The buckle retains most (ie. truly almost all!) of its (typical) field-grey- (ie. olive-green-) coloured sprayed surface (just some tiny paint-loss-markings ie. scratches are noticable as can be seen on the pictures). The piece shows an impressed stamp on the leather-based tab (as can be seen on the pictures). The stamp shows the producing-company (ie. 'Overhoff & Cie. - Lüdenscheid') and the year of production '1938' (as can be seen on the pictures). The buckle - which also shows the super-imposed makers'-designation (ie. 'OLC-Raute') on its back - came mounted onto its still souple - and of course still functional - light-brownish-coloured and genuine leather-based 'tab' (as can be seen on the pictures). I deem that I have priced this truly 'almost minty' WH (Heeres) belt-buckle, accordingly: I have seen similar pieces sell for much more than my asking-price!
