This is a truly attractive - rarely encountered and very detailed! - 'high-quality'-produced example of a: so-called: 'Ehrenzeichen des Nationalsozialistische Lehrerbund 1933' (or: NSLB) being a genuine-silver-based ie. '800'-marked example that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit moderately used- and/or most certainly worn-), condition. This (tiny) lapel-pin was intended for loyal members of the 'Nationalsozialistische Lehrerbund' (or: NSLB) which can be translated as the: National-Socialist Teachers League. The NSLB was established on April 21, 1929 and lasted until 1943. The lapel-pin is constructed of genuine silver-based material and is clearly '800'-stamped on its back (as can be noticed on the pictures). The obverse features a typical 'Reichadler'-device perched above a shield which reads: 'NSLB' to the top has a central mobile swastika flanked by the years-designation: '1933' and an illustration of a three-steeple building to its bottom. The fullback reverse is marked: '800' (silver content-designation) and has a vertically soldered-on round plate that is marked: 'Ges. Gesch.' that holds a functional pin-/ie. pin-catch-assembly. The overall detail on this 'NSLB'-related lapel-pin is very nice and pronounced: the silver-finish shows some minimal wear and/or age as stated above: this is simply caused by normal usage. Simply a very attractive - and actually rarely encountered! - 'NSLB'-related 'Ehrenzeichen 1933' that is most certainly accordingly priced!
