Never before seen, commemorative - and I deem fairly early-period! - golden-bronze-toned, 'tinnie' showing a life-boat and text: 'Deutsche Gesellschaft zur Rettung Schiffbrüchiger'

The attractive - and actually never before encoutered and I deem most certainly fairly early-period! - golden-bronze-toned, day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is executed in golden-bronze-coloured and so-called (hollow) tin-based- (ie. pot-) metal: it shows some normal wear and/or moderate age but has presumably never been cleaned nor polished (it is still a bit dirty but has maintained a nice, somewhat tarnished age-patina). The oval-shaped day-badge comes mounted onto its functional pin-/catch set-up and shows some minimal age ie. staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'tinnie' is very detailed and retains most (ie. all!) of its somewhat darkened, golden-coloured finish (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece shows a detailed representation of a life-boat coupled with the text: 'Deutsche Gesellschaft zur Rettung Schiffbrüchiger'. The neat piece shows some (minimal) damage on its outer left side (as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply an attractive - and most certainly not that often encountered! - tinnie of a hardly known I deem Third-Reich-period (life-saving) organisation named the: 'Deutsche Gesellschaft zur Rettung Schiffbrüchiger' and that is I deem most definitely, accordingly priced!
