This is an attractive - and with certainty unusually seen! - typical TR-period- (ie. DAF- or: 'Deutsches Arbeitsfront'-) related 'tinnie' (ie. 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') that was issued to commemorate a specific national-gathering (held in the town of Frankfurt a. M. in the year 1935) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit surely issued ie. moderately worn-), condition. The detailed and/or pronounced (square-shaped) day-badge - which is executed in silver-toned- and - I deem - typical tin-based metal - shows an illustration of two shaking hands and the DAF-cogwheel-logo coupled with the text as mentioned-above. The piece was never cleaned nor polished and retains a nice and untouched age-patina. The piece is totally void of a makers'-designation and comes naturally mounted onto its (functional) pin- ie. pin/catch set-up. It should be noted that all 'tinnies' that were intended to commemorate an event at regional- (ie. 'towns'- ie. 'Bezirks'-) level (such as the piece on offer here) saw more limited usage and can easily be graded 'fairly scarce'. Simply an attractive, early-period DAF-related 'tinnie' ie. 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen' that is I deem accordingly priced!
