Commemorative - and scarcely found! - WH (Kriegsmarine) related 'tinnie' (ie. 'Tagungs- o. Veranstaltungsabzeichen'-) being a non-maker-marked example showing a 'U-Boot' coupled with the text: 'Marinetag - Schwerin i.M. - 1936'

This is an attractive - and with certainty scarcely found! - so-called: WH (Kriegsmarine) related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Tagungs- o. Veranstaltungsabzeichen'-) being a (typical) non-maker-marked example, showing a (detailed and pronounced!) sub-marine (ie. U-Boot) coupled with the text: 'Marinetag - Schwerin i.M. - 1936' and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit issued- ie. moderately worn-), condition. The unusual and rectangular-shaped piece is executed in (bright) golden-toned, tin-based metal (ie. 'Eisenblech'): it shows some normal wear and/or moderate age but has in my opinion never been cleaned nor polished (it is still a bit dirty but has maintained a nice, somewhat tarnished-, age-patina). The badge comes mounted onto its functional (and unaltered!) pin- ie. pin/catch set-up and shows some minimal age ie. staining (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a nice occasion to acquire a scarcely-found WH (Kriegsmarine) related so-called: 'Tagungs- o. Veranstaltungsabzeichen' for an interesting and I deem justified price!
