Attractive - and not that often encountered! - brownish-red-toned- and/or: 'Meissen'-porcelain-based, so-called: 'Erinnerungs-Medaille' bearing the DAF (ie. Deutscher Arbeitsfront-) logo and text: 'Reichstagung der DAF - Leipzig - 25.-30. März 1935'

This is an attractive - and with certainty not that often ie. scarcely encountered! - brownish-red-toned- and/or: 'Meissen'-porcelain-based (and equally marked!) so-called: commemorative-plaque (ie. 'tragbare Erinnerungs-Medaille') showing a detailed illustration of the DAF-logo (ie. cog-wheel) coupled with the text: 'Reichstagung der Deutschen Arbeitsfront - Leipzig - 25.-30. März 1935' and that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem most certainly issued- ie. moderately worn-), condition. The neat - medium-sized piece having an approximate diameter of approximately 3,7 cms. - has very pronounced detail and was never cleaned nor polished: it has maintained a typical age-patina and is very detailed and/or pronounced (but also shows some regular tarnish as can be seen on the pictures). These neat - I deem semi-official - presentation-pieces (which are sometimes referred to as: 'Böttger-Medaillen' after its designer) were used as some sort of patriotic, commemorative-awards. The piece comes mounted into a (period!) copper-based 'mounting'. Simply a very attractive - and with certainty unusually encountered! - 'Meissen-Porzellan'-based medal ie. 'Erinnerungs-Medaille' that was issued to commemorate a national DAF-rally as was held in the year 1935!
