This is a neat - and I deem just moderately used- and/or worn! - example of a (Heeres), typical field-grey-coloured- and/or steel-based belt-buckle (ie. 'Koppelschloss für Unteroffiziere u. Mannschaften des Heeres') being a clearly maker- (ie. 'GB'- ie. 'Gustav Brehmer') marked example that comes in an overall nice- (ie. clearly issued- and/or just moderately used-), condition. The buckle truly retains a fair bit of its somewhat 'shiny'-styled, darker-toned field-grey-coloured finish without showing any real defaults: it does show some minimal usage- and/or rust-marks but was simply never cleaned nor polished and does show some minimal staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The inside of the buckle shows also some obvious dust and/or staining caused by over more than 80 years of storage. The buckle shows a somewhat vaguely present and impressed makers'-designation-stamp that reads: 'GB' (something that is more often observed). Simply an attractive - and nowadays quite scarcely found! - neatly maker-marked, 'Heeres'-example that is priced according to its overall nice ie. just moderately used- ie. worn condition!
