This is a truly attractive - and actually very rarely encountered! - example of a neatly hand-embroidered so-called: HJ/BDM- (ie. 'Hitlerjugend/Bund Deutscher Mädel') officers'-pattern cuff-title (ie. 'Ärmelstreifen für Führerinnen der Bund deutscher Mädel') entitled: 'Südost-Niederdonau' being an example that has an additionally-(period!) added, silver-toned tradition-stripe (ie. 'Traditionsstreifen') period-attached and that comes in an overall very nicely preserved- (albeit clearly used- and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The neat piece is executed on (typical) darker-blue-toned linnen as to be expected and shows the name of the 'Obergau' (ie. 'Südost-Niederdonau') that is executed in detailed silver-toned and (typical) braid-based hand-stitching (as can be noticed on the pictures). The piece - that measures folded approximately 42 cms. - comes in full-length condition and comes still 'sewn-together' as worn and/or carefully tunic-removed: it just shows some moderate age, wear and/or staining. Of addtional interest is, moreover, the fact that this example shows a (of course single) silver-toned tradition-stripe (ie. 'Traditionsstreifen') attached something that denoted BDM-entry before 1933: moreover, does it still shows the remains (ie. outline) of a once attached 'RzM'-etiket (as can be noticed on the pictures). The piece originates from an exhaustive and advanced youth-related collection that was assembled over a 50-year period. Simply an excellent occasion to acquire a very rarely seen 'Ärmelstreifen für Führerinnen der Bund deutscher Mädel' that was worn by a senior BDM-member serving within the 'Obergau Südost-Niederdonau': just the first such rare BDM-example I ever had on offer!
