This is an attractive - and actually very desirable and scarcely encountered! - WH (Heeres) so-called: 'T-shaped'- (ie. 'M42-pattern') cap-eagle/cocarde (ie. cap-trapezoid) as executed in 'BeVo'- weave weave pattern onto a field-grey-coloured background and that comes in a truly worn- ie. cap-removed condition as found and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. most certainly used- ie. worn-), condition. The eagle/cocarde trapezoid is executed in typical grey-coloured linnen onto a field-grey-coloured background as to be expected. (These trapezoids were specifically produced for the impopular M-42-model cap, but were used also on the more often seen so-called M43 caps). The piece was carefully folded (ie. not trimmed!) and still shows some of the obvious machine-stitching ie. stitching-holes (as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply a very nice - and with certainty scarcely seen! - 'M42-pattern'-cap-trapezoid which is truly special due to its 'cap-removed'-format: I acquired this piece some years ago in the USA, where it most certainly ended once as a 'veteran-bring-back'-item: it was in my own collection for years. Mint examples of these 'T-shaped' eagles are already difficult to find: used and/or truly cap-removed specimen even more so. Simply a very nice and desirable piece something that I deem merits my asking-price!
