Period, WH (Heeres, LW, KM) beige-coloured- and/or rigid carton-based protective ID-document-cover (ie. 'Hülle') as was intended for storage of a: 'Wehrpass' (or: pay-book)

This is an attractive - and just moderately used! - period, WH (Heeres, Luftwaffe or Kriegsmarine etc.) bluish-green-coloured- and/or carton-based, protective ID-document-cover (ie. 'Hülle') as was intended for storage of a: 'Wehrpass' (or: pay-book) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit just moderately used-), condition. The neat piece - which is made out of rigid carton - measures 11,8 x 8 cms. and is just a bit sun-faded over the years. Its cover shows the black-toned and/or embossed (undamaged) wording that simply reads: 'Wehrpass'. The piece is a tiny bit stained ie. dusty caused by decades of storage and/or fair wear. These neat little covers could be acquired by the soldiers in canteens and/or 'Wehrmachtsheime' and were a much favoured personal-accessory. Simply an attractive WH (Heeres-, Luftwaffe o. Kriegsmarine etc.) personal-equipment item that is (I deem) priced according to its overall nicely preserved, condition!
