Clearly used- and/or cap-removed, WH (Heeres) officers'-pattern, visor-cap eagle/cocarde-set (ie. 'Effektensatz für Schirmmütze') being both hand-embroidered examples that come mounted onto a darker-green-coloured- and/or woolen-based background

This is an attractive - carefully cap-removed, truly detailed and actually not that easily encountered! - WH (Heeres) officers'-pattern, visor-cap eagle/cocarde-set (ie. 'Effektensatz für Schirmmütze') being both (partly) hand-embroidered examples that come both mounted onto a typical darker-green-coloured- and/or (smooth) woolen-based background and that come both in an overall nice- (I deem moderately worn- and/or once visor-cap-attached-), condition. These - with certainty 'high-quality'-produced examples - are both executed in multi-coloured, silverish 'braid' and are executed onto a typical (smooth) woolen- and/or darker-green-coloured background. The somewhat smaller-sized eagle has an approximate 'wingspan' of approximately 6 cms. and is not (additionally) backed whereas the cocarde (that came with a neat, additionally-added and aluminium-based inner-cocarde) shows a black-coloured and paper-based backing (as can be seen on the pictures). The set was most certainly once cap-attached and does show some stitching- ie. thread-remains ie. holed. Simply an attractive - and most certainly not that easily encountered! - Heeres-related officers'-type visor-cap-insignia-set that would nicely fit to restore any Heeres officers'-type visor-cap- ie. 'Schirmmütze'!
