Pair of early-pattern, 'HJ'- (ie. 'Hitlerjugend'-) shoulderstraps for usage by a: 'Hitlerjunge' who was attached to the: 'Oberbann 1 - Bann 256' (Bann 256 = 'Bann Northeim' situated in the 'Gebiet Nord Niedersachsen')

This is a neat - just moderately used but nevertheless not that easily found! - typical early-pattern, so-called: 'HJ'- (ie. 'Hitlerjugend'-) shoulderstraps as was (I deem) intended for usage - and clearly worn! - by a: 'Hitlerjunge' who was attached to the: 'Oberbann 1 - Bann 256' (Bann 256 = 'Bann Northeim' situated in the 'Gebiet Nord Niedersachsen') and that comes in an overall nice- (I deem just moderately used- ie. carefully tunic- or shirt-removed-), condition. The straps - which are executed in typical, beige-tan-coloured linnen as to be expected - have the bright-red-coloured- (and typical rayon-based) piping attached and that show the machine-embroidered - by means of 'Kurbelstickerei' (and/or equally coloured) so-called: '256'-numerals (ie. 'Ziffern'). The straps never had a tongue attached and come as found and/or issued: the boards are of the 'sewn-in'-pattern (and were also used as such). The straps - that are void of an 'RzM'-etiket - measure 11,7 cms. in length each and do show some minimal age ie. staining simply caused by moderate wear and/or decades of storage. It should be noted that all 'cyphered' (ie. 'Hitlerjugend') shoulderstraps can easily be graded 'scarce' even more so when they are of the desirable early-pattern. Simply an attractive - and actually not that commonly encountered! - so-called: early-pattern, 'Oberbann 1'-shoulderstrap-pair that belonged to the 'HJ-Bann Northeim' as was based in the 'Gebiet Nord Niedersachsen'!
