This is a neat - and I deem moderately used- and/or worn- but nevertheless not that easily found! - example of a WH (Luftwaffe) machine-embroidered, so-called: trade- ie. special-career-patch (ie. 'Tätigkeitsabzeichen') showing a silver-toned 'Kordel' attached as was intended for: 'LW-Fernsprech'-staffmembers (ie. 'Fernsprech-Unteroffiziere' or: telex-staff) and that comes in an overall nice- (and I deem clearly worn- ie. once tunic-attached-), condition. The badge - which has the neat 'silverish' and/or cord-like border' (ie. 'Kordel') attached - signified that the bearer had a one years'-service in this speciality. The piece - which shows a additionally added linnen-based and black-coloured 'backing' - is nicely machine-woven on a LW bluish-grey-coloured- and/or woolen-based background and shows some clear staining and/or fair wear. These badges ranked actually amongst the 'award-category' and came together with an official award-document and had to be properly entered in both 'Soldbuch' and 'Wehrpass'. Simply a neat - and not that often encountered! - LW-'Tätigkeits-Abzeichen' that is accordingly priced!
