This is an attractive - and with certainty unusually seen! - example of the larger-sized- (ie. measuring 14,5 x 10 cms.) and neatly 'Raute'-shaped (I deem) sports'-shirt patch (ie. 'N.S.K.K.-Brustabzeichen für das Sporthemd') as was used by the various officials serving within the: N.S.K.K. (ie. 'National Socialistisches Kraftfahr Korps') that is executed in detailed machine-embroidery onto a black-toned and woolen-based background and that comes in a just moderately used- ie. worn, condition. I deem that these (fairly early-period- ie. most certainly pre-war) patches were worn on the breasts of the training-jackets and other sports'-gear. The patch shows a (detailed!) machine-embroidered, early eagle-device and (braid-based!) wheel surrounded by a (tarnished-silver-toned and equally braid-based) 'circle'. This particular (and interesting!) example originated from the famous Dave Delich collection. Simply a neat - and actually never before encountered! - N.S.K.K.- ie. sports-related breast-patch that is (I deem) accordingly priced!
