'Dual'-maker-marked, 'Eisernes Kreuz 1. Klasse' (ie. Iron Cross 1st class) being an (I deem) mid-war-period produced: 'L/52'- and/or: '20'- (ie. by 'C.F. Zimmermann'-marked-) example and that comes complete in its specific etui as issued

This is a truly attractive - and I deem just mininimally used- and/or worn! - example of an: 'Eisernes Kreuz 1. Klasse' (ie. Iron Cross 1st class) being an (I deem) mid-war-period produced (and/or: dual maker-marked- (ie. 'L/52'- and/or: '20'- thus by the company 'C.F. Zimmermann'-produced) example that comes complete in its specific (and equally nicely preserved!) etui as issued and/or recently found. The cross - which is non-vaulted ie. non-converse-shaped as more often encountered - has most certainly never been cleaned and retains a nice age-patina and/or great pronounced detail. This example - which is an evident specimen as was produced by the: 'C.F. Zimmermann'-company as based in the town of Pforzheim - comes naturally mounted onto its functional (pin- ie. pin-catch) set-up. The back of the cross is hardly stained (but was never cleaned nor polished though). The (straight-shaped) pin and typical catch (ie. set-up) are naturally unaltered and/or fully functional. The piece shows a clearly present (dual!) makers'-designation that reads: 'L/52' and/or: '20' (stamped into the top-back of its pin as more often). The etui comes also in a very fine and complete condition: the silver-rimmed cross that figures on the etui's top is in a very nice and totally undamaged condition whereas the black-coloured- and (simulated) velvet-like interior is also fully present and in place (it does just show some minimal age and/or staining). The cross is - as stated above - an attractive example that was produced by the maker: 'C.F. Zimmermann' as based in the town of Pforzheim. It was never part of a collection and was recently found at a private-household in Germany. I deem that this attactive - matching and fully untouched! - IC-set by the 'C.F. Zimmermann'-company is accordingly priced!
