Superb example of a 2-pieced medal-bar (ie.: 'Orden- o. Doppelspange') resp. showing a: 'KvK 2. Klasse mit Schw.' and a WH Memelland 'Anschluss'-medal: '22 März 1939' (being of the so-called: 'slanted G'-type)

This is a truly decorative - and with certainty rarely found! - example of a two-pieced, medal-bar (ie. 'Orden- o. Doppelspange') being of the 'non-detachable'-pattern, respectively showing a: 'Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse mit Schwertern' (or: War Merits' Cross second class with swords) and a so-called: WH Memelland 'Anschluss'- (ie. occupation-) medal: '22 März 1939' as was given to all members of the armed forces that participated in the German occupation of the Memelland, which started on 22 March 1939) being a minimally used example of the so-called: 'slanted G'-type) both awards coming in an overall very nice- (albeit minimally used and/or worn-), condition. Both awards are nicely preserved examples that seem to have never been cleaned nor polished: both come in an equally minimally tarnished- (ie. dusty) condition and naturally also come mounted onto their period ribbons. The KvK (that comes mounted onto its truly orange-red-coloured ribbon!) is an acttractive, very detailed and/or typical golden-bronze-toned (and I deem 'Buntmetall'-based) specimen that just shows a minimally tarnished ie. stained appearance. It is totally void of any damage or alike (as can be seen on the pictures). The Memel 'Anschluss'-medal retains all of its original, bright-golden-bronze-toned finish: it is also a tiny bit dirty ie. tarnished, simply caused by minimal wear and/or decades of storage (as can be noticed on the pictures). The 'Spange' comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- (ie. catch-) set-up and is nicely 'backed' with a piece of greyish-coloured (smooth-type) wool as is more often seen (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'Spange' is most certainly a period-compiled- and/or worn piece and is NOT a post-war compilation or alike. Simply a very attractive - and decorative! - 2-pieced, medal-bar- (ie. 'Doppelspange') that is in my opinion accordingly priced!
