This is an attractive - simply never used- nor tunic-attached! - example of a 'last-ditch'- (ie. very late-war!-) pattern, 'SS' (ie. 'Waffen-SS') so-called: 'printed'-style enlisted-mens'-/ie. NCO-pattern arm-eagle (ie. 'Ärmeladler für Mannschaften u. Unteroffiziere') as was intended for usage by the various Waffen-SS troops at the end of the war and that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem simply never used- ie. still 'virtually mint'-), condition. The neat and desirable piece - which shows a white-coloured eagle on a black-coloured background - comes in a wonderful condition and comes presumable 'cut-out' a larger piece of cloth (as can be seen on the pictures). The eagle is a text-book example of a so-called: 'last-ditch'-type, printed SS-arm-eagle. The piece - that just shows some minimal fraying on its sides as more often - just shows some minimal staining caused by storage and/or handling over the years. Simply an attractive - and of course 100% guaranteed original! - Waffen-SS printed arm-eagle that will be very hard to be upgraded and that is quite hard to encounter!
