WH (Kriegsmarine) 'Kriegsabzeichen für Minensuch-, U-Boot-Jagd und Sicherungs-Verbände' being a detailed and (typical) non-maker-marked, 'Feinzink'-based example as was produced by the 'Förster & Barth'-company

This is an attractive - truly used but actully scarcely encountered! - example of a WH (Kriegsmarine) so-called: 'Kriegsabzeichen für Minensuch-, U-Boot-Jagd und Sicherungs-Verbände' (or: mine-sweeper war-badge) being a detailed- and I deem somewhat later-war-pattern, non-maker-marked specimen as was executed in multi-coloured zinc-based metal (ie. 'Feinzink') and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly- ie. moderately worn- ie. used-), condition. The naval war-badge, which has pronounced detail, comes naturally mounted onto its functional (and/or vertically-mounted- and 'flute-shaped' (typical 'F&B'-styled) pin-, catch and/or typically-shaped pin-attachment (as is more often the case). The piece was presumably never cleaned ie. polished and has regrettably lost some of its (light-toned- and most certainly over the years 'faded-away') golden- and/or silver-coloured finish. The badge shows a typical, 'F&B'-styled pin- (ie. catch-) attachment and can easily be attributed to the desirable maker: 'Förster & Barth' as based in the town of Pforzheim (ie. 'Hersteller 10 o.: L/21'). The neat piece is just a bit stained ie. tarnished but was most certainly never cleaned nor polished: it came as recently uncovered at a German private-household (as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply an attractive, 'variant-pattern' KM-related war-badge by the: 'Förster & Barth'-company that comes in a moderately used and/or worn condition and that is (I deem) accordingly priced!
