This is an attractive - fully matching and actually not that easily found! - pair of Waffen-SS officers'-type shoulderboards as piped in the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'SS-Obersturmführer' (or: lieutnant first-class) who served within the: 'Waffen-SS (Sturm)Artillerie-Truppen' (or: artillery-troops) and that comes in overall very nice- (albeit just minimally used ie. worn- and I deem carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The neat shoulderboards - which never had a tongue attached and that were as such clearly used as a pair of the 'sew-in'-pattern - have the somewhat 'sub-dued'- (ie. greyish-silverish-coloured) 'upperdecks' and are executed in (smooth-type) black-coloured wool as to be expected. They show the desirable 'silke-like'-type, bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The boards - which measures approximately 11 cms. in length - show a pair of (bright-golden-toned- and just minimally tarnished) pips period-attached denoting the junior-officers'-rank of an: 'SS-Obersturmführer'. The boards show some minimal age, usage and/or moderate staining. Simply an attractive Waffen-SS officers'-type shoulderboard-pair that comes in a desirable branchcolour: I deem that I have priced this neat Waffen-SS-pattern, officers'-type 'Obersturmführer'-shoulderboard-pair, accordingly!
