Very detailed and clearly tunic-removed, WH (Kriegsmarine) officers'-type, hand-embroidered breast-eagle

This is an attractive - and with certainty used and/or carefully tunic-removed! - example of a WH (Kriegsmarine) officers'- (ie. evt. NCO-) type, hand-embroidered- (and truly very detailed!) naval-type breast-eagle (ie. 'Brustadler für Offiziere der Kriegsmarine') being executed in various types of bright-golden-coloured braid onto a darker-blue- (ie. almost black!) coloured- and/or 'smooth'-woolen-based background and that comes in an overall very nice- (and as stated above I deem just moderately used- and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. This example - having a length ie. 'wingspan' of approximately 9,6 cms. - is very nicely hand-embroidered using amongst other material (bright) golden-coloured 'braid' onto a darker-blue-coloured (and/or woolen-based) background and has some 'highlighted areas' as executed in yellowish-coloured (and linnen-based) thread (as can be seen on the pictures). The eagle - that shows minimal usage and wear as can be noticed on the pictures - shows an additional (thin-shaped and linnen-based) 'backing' as more often (as can be seen on the pictures). This example originated from a small naval breast-eagle-collection I recently acquired for the web-site: the piece was somewhat crudely tunic-removed and misses a tiny bit of its right-sided back-ground- ie. point (the eagle itself is, however, not damaged as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply a very attractive example of a WH (Kriegsmarine) officers'-type breast-eagle of the 'Extra Qualität' that is with certainty accordingly priced!
