This is an attractive - and actually quite scarcely encountered! - WH (Heeres, Luftwaffe etc.) WWII-period wrist-watch (or: 'Dienstuhr') of the make: 'Silvana' having a black-coloured (and minimally 'faded') dial-plate and neatly engraved number on its back that simply reads: 'D333593H' and that comes in an overall nice (and truly worn- but still fully functional and/or running!), condition. These naval service watches - having a standard 15- (or 17-) jewel-movement - were distributed at a very small scale to the various soldiers (ie. NCO and officers!) of the various units within the 'Deutsche Wehrmacht' and were properly entered in both 'Wehrpass' and/or 'Soldbuch'. They had to be engraved with a numbering on the back (as is this example). As stated above has the piece on offer here a black-coloured (and/or undamaged albeit somewhat 'faded'- ie. stained) dial-plate having a subsidiary 'seconds'-dial at the 6 o'clock position. The piece has a nice (albeit clearly used) casing (which is executed in nickle-silver metal): it just shows regular wear and age, simply caused by moderate wear and/or obvious age. As stated is the piece still functional and in running condition and comes on its most certainly replaced but I deem (black-coloured) and/or leather-based armband as found. Simply a very nice - and truly scarcely encountered! - naval time-piece that is I deem accordingly priced!
