This is a very attractive - and with certainty very rarely encountered! - (I deem) Marine-HJ- (ie. 'Marine-Hitlerjugend'-) related arm-badge (aka: 'Ärmelabzeichen') depicting the embroidered text: 'Seeberufsfachschule Kammer' (and as such denoting that the bearer was a student at a specific naval training-institute or school based in the town of Kammer am Attersee) and that comes with a period portrait-photo of the bearer and that comes in an overall nice- (I deem surely used- and/or once tunic-attached-), condition. The neat (shield-shaped- and/or approximately 6,5 x 6 cms. sized) (arm-)badge - which is excuted on a black-coloured- and/or (smooth-) woolen-based background - shows a blue-coloured 'shield' that is having the (machine-)embroidered- (and/or greyish-white-coloured-) text: 'Seeberufsfachschule Kammer'. There is an ongoing discussion about these neat arm-badges (especially regarding their exact usage): as far as I know has no official regulation been found to date. The neat badge is just a tiny bit stained caused by years of storage only (as can be seen on the pictures). Of additional interest is, naturally the fact that this example came with a period portrait-photo of the bearer (showing this shield in wear). In any case is this a very attractive and very unusually encountered Marine-HJ 'career- ie. schooling-related-' youth-set: I deem that is one of the few remaining pieces that have surfaced to date!
