This is a neat - and actually scarcely encountered! - example of a: 'Deutsches Luftsport Verband'- (ie. DLV-) related- and nicely machine-embroidered cap-eagle as was specifically intended for usage onto the DLV-side-caps (ie. 'Schiffchenmützen') and that comes in an overall nice- (and I deem used- ie. once side-cap-attached-), condition. The DLV was an in the year 1933 formed organisation and was Germany's first move to establish the (later formed) airforce, the 'Luftwaffe'. The eagle is neatly machine-embroidered in greyish-white-coloured linnen onto a bright bluish-grey-coloured- (and/or woolen-based) background. Simply an attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - 'DLV'-related 'Schiffchenadler' that comes not that often for sale!
