This is an attractive - and actually very difficult to find and/or fully matching! - (and I deem early- ie. mid-war period) WH (Kriegsmarine) officers'-pattern collar-tab-pair (ie. 'Kragenspiegel für Offiziere-) as was specifically intended for usage by an: Offizier eines Küsten-Artillerie-Regiments o. Abteilungs' (or: naval officer and/or member within a coastal-artillery unit or regiment) and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem hardly used ie. still 'virtually mint'-), condition. The typical hand-embroidered collar-tabs have the typical 'buckram'-based backings and are piped in the yellowish- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured branchcolour (having a white coloured centre-stripe) and come mounted onto a (darker-green-coloured and smooth-woolen-based) background: they were as such intended for usage by the officers serving within the coastal-artillery troops (or: 'Küstenartillerie-Truppen'). The collar-tabs which are 'text-book' in all facets show some minimal age, wear and/or staining. It should be noted that almost ALL 'Küstenartillerie' insignia-pieces are very hard to encounter: these specific 'Küst.-Art.' officers'-pattern collar-tab-sets even more so, which grades them easily as 'scarce'. Simply a truly attractive - and hard to find! - officers'-pattern 'Küstenartillerie' collar-tab-pair as was intended for usage on the field-grey coloured naval-attire!
