I recently uncovered three - fully identical and actually not that often encountered! - examples of the typical later-war-period, WH (Heeres) so-called: 'M44'-pattern- (and/or trapezoid-shaped) officers'-pattern breasteagle (ie. 'Brustadler für Offiziere des Heeres') being darker-green-coloured examples that are executed in the neat 'BeVo'-weave (ie. 'flat-wire'-) pattern and that come all three in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem 'virtually mint'- and/or simply never tunic-attached-), condition. The pieces - which are executed in darker-green-coloured linnen - come as 'straightly cut of the role' and will be hard to be upgraded (they are just a tiny bit wrinkled). This was the 'standard'-issue-pattern WH breasteagle as was used on most (later-war and/or battle-dress shaped) 'M-44-model officers'-type tunics. The eagles come of course in a fully unconfectioned condition and just bear some truly minimal staining and/or wrinkled appearance simply caused by years of storage only. My asking-price is naturally intended per single example. Simply a nice occasion to acquire such a neat, later-war-period officers'-pattern breasteagle: great to restore any M44 officers'-type, army-tunic or ideally fitted to be stored in any eagle- ie. cloth-collection!
