Golden-yellow-coloured- and/or linnen-based armband (ie. 'Armbinde') entitled: 'Waffen-SS'

This is a very attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - typically golden-yellow-coloured- and/or linnen-based armband (ie. 'Armbinde') entitled: 'Waffen-SS' and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit I deem hardly ie. just minimally used ie. worn-), condition. These neat pieces were intended for usage by the various non-uniformed troops serving under the jurisdiction of the 'Waffen-SS' ie. 'Sicherheitsdienst' (ie. 'SD'). The armband - which measures in total 39 cms. in length and is 10,5 cms. wide as more often seen - comes in an overall very nice, albeit moderately used condition and shows some minimal age and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece is beautifully woven using a specific (almost 'BeVo'-like!) weave-technique. This example originates from a larger-sized armband-collection that was compiled over the years and that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply an attractive - and scarcely encountered! - armband that comes not that often offered for sale!
