Early-period- and tarnished silvered ie. 'Buntmetall'-based! - 'Polizei'- (ie. police) visor-cap eagle being a silver-coloured- and typical non-maker-marked example as was intended for usage on the various 'Polizei' (ie. police) visor-caps

This is a neat example of an - I deem - fairly early- (ie. pre-war-) period- and/or typical, silvered 'Buntmetall'- (or: 'Altsilber'-) based, so-called: 'Polizei'-related visor-cap eagle (ie. 'Adler für Polizei-Schirmmütze') being a (clearly tarnished) silver-coloured- and/or non-maker-marked (2-pieced) example that was intended for usage on the various 'Polizei' (ie. police) or: 'Feuerwehr' (fire-brigade) visor-caps (ie. 'Schirmmützen') and that comes in an overall nice- (I deem clearly used- ie. once visor-cap-attached-), condition. The detailed and multi-piece-constructed cap-eagle is executed in silver-coloured (ie. clearly 'frosted') 'Buntmetall' and retains both its (silver-toned) prongs in place (as can be seen on the pictures). The detail on the fairly 'frosted' piece is still quite extraordinary: it just shows some dust ie. tarnish simply caused by decades of storage and/or moderate wear. I deem that this attractive piece is accordingly priced!
