Unidentified, red-coloured-enamelled TR-period, membership-lapel-pin (ie. 'Mitgliedabzeichen') depicting the abbreviation: 'VDP'

This is a neat - darker-red-coloured- and nicely enamelled albeit somewhat tarnished - Third Reich-period so-called: membership-lapel-pin (ie. 'Mitgliedsabzeichen') depicting the (Gothic-styled) abbreviation: 'VDP' being a nicely preserved and/or typical non-maker-marked example that comes as issued, moderately worn and/or recently found. The neat - and somewhat smaller-sized, shield-shaped - piece shows some moderate wear and/or age (mainly dirt and/or minimal staining) but is totally void of any enamel-damage or alike (as can be seen on the pictures). The silver-toned lapel-pin - which comes naturally mounted onto its functional (long-sized) pin shows in its centre the (silver-toned) logo ie. abbreviation: 'VDP' (which I could not identify nor find). The pin was found amongst a small group of (known) TR-lapel-pins and I deem that this example would merit further investigative work. Simply a neat TR-lapel-pin that was worn by a member of a still unidentified TR-organisation and tha is I deem accordingly priced!
