This is an attractive - quite vaulted- ie. converse-shaped and I deem just moderately used and/or worn! - example of an: 'Infanterie Sturmabzeichen in Silber' (or: silver-class assault-badge ie. IAB) being a typical non-maker-marked, zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based specimen as was (I deem) procuded by the: 'Frank & Reif'-company and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit surely issued- and/or just moderately worn-), condition. The badge is a typical zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based example that retains most of its silverishtoned finish: it retains a nice and typical 'Feinzink'-like age-patina. This particular example comes naturally mounted onto its functional (thin-shaped- and/or silver-coloured) pin which shows a typical mounting and catch as to be expected for a piece by the 'Frank & Reif'-company. The piece is truly quite detailed and has a pronounced appearance: the award has I deem just been moderately used and shows some minimal wear ie. dirt on some the obvious higher-placed areas: it was however most certainly never cleaned nor polished. It originated from a private-household in Germany and was never before in collectors'-hands. Simply an attractive and honest silver-class IAB that is most certainly accordingly priced!
