This is a very attractive - and with certainly very scarcely encountered! - 'Deutsche Wehrmacht', very early- (ie. 'Reichswehr'-) period, minimally tarnished- and 'frosted'-silver-toned (ie. I deem 'Buntmetall'- ie. 'Altsilber'-based), enlisted-mens'- (ie. NCO- or even officers') type visor-cap-eagle (ie. 'Adler für Schirmmütze') being a very detailed albeit non-marked example that comes in a minimally used- ie. (I deem) most certainly once cap-attached, condition. The neat piece - that has an approximate wingspan of only 4.8 cms. - comes (of course) in a still fully functional condition. Both of its (original, silver-toned) prongs are still present and/or fully functional: they were - I deem - once folded ie. bent but are still functional (as can be seen on the pictures). The eagle - which is very detailed and pronounced - has a nice and typical 'Buntmetall'-like appearance. Simply a fine, original example that originates from a German private-household where it was recently uncovered. Simply a very attractive - and with certainty desirable! - 'Deutsche Wehrmacht o. Reichswehr' spare-part that will be very hard to be upgraded and that comes not that often for sale!
